Polymer Reforming 

  • The DMM technology utilizes catalytic thermal decomposition to convert waste plastics into valuable products.

  • Depending on the plastic type and specific process parameters, outputs include liquid crude hydrocarbons or monomeric building blocks.

  • The process operates under a high temperature limit of up to 400°C.

  • DMM process can recycle PE, PS, PP, PET, nylon, rubber, Teflon, and Kevlar (requires higher temperatures and co-processing).

  • The process is robust against common contaminants such as cellulosic material, residual reagents, and trace metals. The catalysts can also process cellulosic material into petrochemicals.

  • Depending on the plastic type and process parameters, outputs include liquid crude hydrocarbons or monomeric building blocks.

  • Typically, >90% conversion efficiency.
